MIMPI

Sebuah kata yang belum ku tahu benar maknanya. 

Dari sebuah novel petualangan tentang remaja yang ingin mendaki gunung dengan keadaan yang tak sepenuhnya mendukung mereka, tentang cinta dan persahabatan, mimpi dan perjuangan, hingga rasa nasionalisme.

Sebuah karya yang kompleks dan mengena hati nuraniku. Banyak buku yang telah ku lahap habis (gak berhitung jumlahnya) tapi mungkin cerita ini yang telah “membangunkan”ku dari tidur yang lelap selama ini.

Kalimat yang terus ku ingat sampai sekarang…………………………….

“apa yang telah kau berikan pada negaramu?”

“apa yang telah kau lakukan pada orang-orang agar mereka mengingatmu meskipun kau tidak ada?”

Dan satu kalimat yang sangat sederhana tapi mempunyai makna yang besar………………………………….

“apa mimpimu?”

Disinilah aku kembali memikirkan apa mimpiku. Hal-hal yang ingin ku capai dan tujuan hidupku. Atau bahkan satu keinginan sederhanaku saat ini.

Apakah hal-hal sederhana tersebut akan mengarahkanku pada mimpiku?

Ya!

Mimpi merupakan sebuah tujuan dari kumpulan perjalanan sederhana. Hari ini aku melakukan hal yang sederhana yang nantinya kan mengarah pada mimpi besarku. Mimpi yang akan membawaku pada hal-hal yang dapat menjawab pertanyaan diatas.

Seandainya tak ada lagi aku disini, kebahagiaan tetap dapat dirasakan oleh mereka yang ada disekitarku.

One Cultural Component in Korea

Dont call someone older than you by their first name.

People don't speak in the first person in Korea. They dont often use the pronoun 'you' either, especially to someone older than you. While you can use the name of a younger brother/sister or a friend of the same age, you cant use your colleague's name, boss's name, or the name someone you dont know well. In the family or at school, girls can call an older brother, older male friend '오빠' (oppa) and boy can use '형' (hyung). Likewise, girls can call an older sister, or older female friend '언니' (eonni) and boy can use '누나' (nuna). in the office, it's a good idea to add '님' (-nim) to the last name and job title of all older people. Among colleagues,they add '씨' (-ssi) after a man and woman's full name.

SS501

Let me tell you about SS501 again ^^

SS501 is a Korean boyband who debuted in 2005. They have five members. Kim Hyun Joong as the leader, Heo Young Saeng, Kim Kyu Jong, Park Jung Min, and Kim Hyung Jun as the maknae. They debuted under DSP Entertaiment but now they are in different agency. SS501 have been 2 years in hiatus now. But all the Triple S (name for SS501 fans) believe they will come back as a group. 

All the member now pursue their dream as a solo singer. Wish them all the best. I believe when they come back later, their group will be more strong and mature. That will be great. Let's support them always ^^. SS501 Fighting!!!!
